There was a point in my life when I woke up at 4am, took a cold shower, meditated for an hour, had a coffee, read some inspiring text, and started my day feeling like a stoic god…but those days seem far away now, and f*ck me it feels harder than ever to be spiritual…with all of these worldly distractions and anxieties cascading around, it’s hard to find some peace in my own head.

Thankfully a song like Three Oscillators ‘Into the Abyss’ offers a template for self reflection. I sit writing/listening to this glacial soundscape – which conjures visions of morphing darkness and technicolor enlightenment – and feel a certain calm…a hunger for clarity. This meticulous music reminds me of the quest for self, while other content I’ve consumed lately brings me to the verge of mania.

Brij Dalvi aka Three Oscillators is a Bombay-based music producer, DJ and content writer, whose music projects include Three Oscillators and BrijPlease ("harder, murkier bass music" in his own words). This renaissance man has been all over Sound.xyz lately with two solo Three Oscillators drops (‘Into The Abyss’ and the sold out ‘Submersion’) a collaborative compilation ‘Dance Music For Introverts Vol 1,’ and most recently a remix for the sublimely talented Sound Of Fractures. Dope to see Brij representing India in the music NFT space, especially with such fresh and detailed electronica. Will be on the lookout for new offerings from any/all of his projects…for my playlists and my sanity ;)
